# Upgrading

## Upgrading to 1.0.0

1.0.0 is the first release and a fresh baseline. Deploy the complete
core; no manual step is needed.

1. Copy the complete core over the installation, including `VERSION`, `includes/`,
   `admin/`, `css/`, `js/` and the root PHP files. Keep site-local data:
   `admin/config.php`, `content/`, `assets/images/`, `assets/fonts/` and uploads.
2. Open the dashboard once and check **System status** for the PHP version,
   extensions, paths and upload limits.
3. If the site uses a custom layout, verify that its templates and editable fields
   still render.
4. Custom save API integrations must send the resource revision with each save.

The version rendered by `raijuVersion()` must read `1.0.0` from `VERSION`.
